A fatal accident occurred on the Kyeremasu-Ampenkro road in the Dormaa East District, instantly killing a motorcyclist believed to be in his late 30s.

The horrible accident happened at around 8:45 PM, Wednesday, July 23, 2025, between a motorbike and a Highlander with the registration number BR-95-25.

The body of the deceased identified as Adama Mumuni got split in two after he crashed his Haejine motorbike into the Highlander.

Reports gathered by OTEC News indicate that the motorcyclist who was traveling from Dormaa Ahenkro to Sunyani attempt swerving a pothole on the road, he as a result lost control forcing him to collide with the Highlander which was also traveling from Wamfie to Kyeremaasu.

The body of the accident victim has since been deposited at the Morgue pending further Police investigations.

The Highlander driver identified as Junior is still in police custody at the Dormaa District Police Headquarters for further interrogation.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing led by the Dormaa district police command.
