The 4th West Africa Pharma Exhibition and Conference is expected to take place from May 7 to 8, 2025, to discuss the transformation changes in the health care sector in West Africa.
The event, expected to be opened by the Minister for Health, Kwabena Mintah-Akandoh and the Indian High Commission to Ghana, will be attended by over 200 participants
Organised by Astrovision Global FZCO Dubai and ACE Group, the event will gather healthcare leaders, industry innovators, and regulatory bodies under one roof to discuss transformative changes in the health sector across West Africa.
It will focus on contemporary approaches and perspectives in pharmaceuticals and hteealthcare in general.
Deliberations will focus on artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and the application of the Internet of Things (IoT) in modern healthcare delivery, particularly within the context of pharmaceuticals.
Topics to be discussed will include Regulating Telemedicine Practice, New Models and Innovations in Pharmaceuticals Increasing Access to Medicines: Approaches and Perspectives and Emerging Trends in Pharmacy.
Experts will share insights on current models, highlight challenges, and propose practical solutions.
It is expected that these insights will support policymakers in carving out regulatory measures for emerging areas in the pharmaceutical space, such as telemedicine.
Furthermore, the shared ideas are anticipated to contribute to the development of a safer and more resilient telemedicine practice in Ghana. They will also facilitate the diffusion of modern healthcare approaches, with a view to increasing access to quality healthcare for underserved populations.
There event will have both plenary and breakout sessions as well.
