As Muslims in Ghana and around the world begin the holy month of Ramadan, Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has shared her heartfelt well-wishes.
In a statement, she acknowledged the spiritual significance of the period, saying, “This sacred period of fasting, prayer, and reflection is for drawing closer to Allah and for strengthening the bonds of compassion, unity, and generosity holding us together.”
She also commended the contributions of Ghana’s Muslim communities, emphasizing their dedication to national development. “To all our hardworking Muslim communities: your unwavering support and commitment to nation-building do not go unnoticed. May this Ramadan bring you abundant blessings, renewed strength, and fulfillment of your prayers.”
