It was quite obvious from the very beginning that when Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky was “invited” to the White House by the clinically and the pathologically self-befuddled political bulldozer that is President Donald John Trump, the invitation was about anything but a very serious and a psychologically and an emotionally mature and a constructive attempt to definitively resolve the genocidal war on Kiev or The Ukraine barbarically and relentlessly launched by The Kremlin’s President Vladimir Putin.
Rather, it was equally savagely and barbarically to add the proverbial insult to injury, as it almost immediately became evident, when Mr. Trump and his former political archnemesis recently turned lapdog, Vice-President J D Vance, and the Mariachi Band Leader of a Secretary of State called Marco Rubio, who has scandalously gone on global record as having asserted, downright blasphemously, that it is only the man who wants to convert Palestinian lands into prime real-estate Mediterranean resort properties, while he literally herded the original owners into refugee camps in neighboring countries like Jordan and Egypt, who is the only leader in the world at the moment who can effectively and definitively resolve the Russia-Ukraine War.
You see, Marco Rubio cannot even lead an Afro-Cuban Band because he is a knuckleheaded Euro-Cuban-descended Miami transplant who is damn too daft to handle the Afrocentric Polyrhythms of a true and a full-blooded Cuban. But what the author wanted to add with alacrity and gusto, of course, is that all three members of the Scottish-Bavarian Gang of Bullies failed royally in their craven and dastardly attempt to ambush and permanently snuff the metaphorical living daylights out of President Volodymyr Zelensky. In short Messrs. Trump, Vance and Rubio gave us more than ample reasons why Americans must start turning elsewhere outside the so-called Ivy Towers for True and Smart Leadership, perhaps to the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) the graduates of whose ancestors and descendants are actually responsible for Making America Great and Wealthy Enough to attract the milk-and-honey seeking likes of the German grandfather and the Scottish mother of Mr. Trump, on the largesse of a DEI Program that for generations and centuries prevented African Americans from partaking of the very wealth which they and their Continental African Ancestors had created gratis for These United States of America.
It despondently appears as if our Ivy Graduates have effectively run out of ideas on how to move our Mega and Empire-Size Country ahead among the comity of global leadership. Among our present Republican Party-sponsored top three aforementioned leaders, we have Harvard, Yale and the University of Pennsylvania. But for the genius leadership of former Presidents William “Bill” Jefferson Blye Clinton and the Half-Continental African-descended Barack Hussein Obama (Columbia and Harvard) and, of course, former Vice-President Albert “Al” Gore, Jr., (Harvard), the United States of America would have absolutely nothing worthwhile to show for the social and the political relevance of our so-called Ivory Imprimaturs.
It is about time American voters and citizens begin studiously focusing our attention on the public academies and the State Universities. A Presidential or an Official Visit to the White House which begins with such morbid and diplomatically asinine frivolity as mocking the seasonable military couture or the wartime attire of Ukraine’s President Zelensky, a fairly familiar face at the White House – at least the Biden White House – cannot absolutely in anyway be intelligently described as one that started on a good note. What we really need to know from a “Transactional President Trump” is how much Russia’s Vladimir Putin had offered the Mar-a-Largo Chieftain in order for him to bring himself so diplomatically low down the ladder.
For example, how else could anybody expect this abysmally low and indecorous quality of Ivy display of diplomatic courtesy to draw any profound demonstration of “Gratitude” from President Zelensky, when by Mr. Trump’s own readily accessible and indelibly documented assertion, it was “a stupid President [Joseph Biden]” who gave Mr. Zelensky and the Ukrainian people some $350 billion, largely in weaponry, to fend themselves against the marauding political behemoth that is Russia’s Lt-Col (Ret) Vladimir Putin?
After all, hadn’t Mr. Zelensky expressed ample gratitude to a “Stupid President Biden” and the American people more than a million times over or well enough to insulate him from having to, once again, go down on all fours, literally, before a man who would rather have had Mr. Zelensky and the people of Ukraine already and effectively reduced to mincemeat, even while also disingenuously pretending as if the twice, nonconsecutively elected President Trump had really had any hand in offering the unignorably substantial sum of $350 billion, to prevent the Russians from literally slaughtering the Ukrainians in three weeks, as the Bedminster, New Jersey, Golf Club Proprietor recently claimed, to which a naturally disgusted President Zelensky corrected Mr. Trump for good measure by sarcastically reducing the latter duration to “Just three days!” (See “How the Trump-Zelensky Talks Collapsed in 10 Fiery Minutes” BBC News 3/1/25).
The Ukrainian leader is dead-bolt on target when he asserts authoritatively that: “From the beginning of the war, we have been alone and we are thankful.” Here also, he cannot be factually contradicted because but for the almost belated albeit remarkably opportune intervention of a “Stupid President Biden,” the now-President Trump would have literally gleefully looked on as Mr. Zelensky and his people were delivered to the meat grinder and effectively and permanently laid to waste.
You see, having in the recent past promptly and roundly rebuffed a mischievous Trumpian attempt to use President Zelensky to railroad the Biden Family, the cantankerous self-exiled New Yorker has been steely determined to destroy both Mr. Zelensky and the Ukrainian people, thus the Trumpian striking up a fast friendship with Vladimir Putin. In the last 40 years that this author has studiously followed the public life of the real-estate mogul, Mr. Trump has always shown himself to be a system bucker. He is not very well known to be very fond of playing by the rules, be it building zoning laws or anything else. He once even fiercely took on the late Mr. Kofi Annan, at the time the globally renowned and respected Secretary-General of the United Nations.
The irony here, though, is that many of us have so soon and scandalously forgotten that not very long ago, Vice-President J D Vance was widely shown on prime-time television calling Mr. Trump “America’s Hitler,” and Secretary-of-State Marco “Mariachi” Rubio smugly and also spitefully claimed that Mr. Trump’s fingers were “too little and too short” for his burly physique, an obvious reference to late African American psychiatrist Dr. Frances Cress-Welsing’s Theory of “Black Penis Envy” by the American Whiteman. Could this also be part of the summary and the wholesale scrapping of the DEI – Diversity, Equity and Inclusion – and Affirmative Action policies by the Trump Government?
In any case, whoever saw Elon Musk walk into the Oval Office dressed in a suit? Somebody has suggested that Vice-President Vance, perhaps feeling excruciatingly upstaged by Space-X’s Mr. Musk, widely reputed to be the world’s richest man, might have decided to take out his frustration on the proverbial family dog. Unfortunately, picking on Ukraine’s President Zelensky does not appear to have been a very smart move. Or was it?
