Andre Ayew unfazed by Black Stars snub – Agyemang Badu

Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has unveiled a 23-man squad for Ghana’s upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.

However, the exclusion of veteran forward and former captain Andre Dede Ayew has once again raised eyebrows.

Despite Ayew’s impressive form at club level, Otto Addo opted to leave him out, sparking debates among fans and pundits.

Former Black Stars midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has urged respect for the coach’s decision while revealing that Ayew remains calm about the situation.

“We all know player selection for the Black Stars is based on performance. Dede is delivering, but we must respect the coach’s choice,” Badu told Connect 97.1FM.

Badu further disclosed that he had a conversation with Ayew, who is unfazed by the snub.

“I spoke to Dede Ayew, and he isn’t worried,” Badu said.

Ayew, one of Ghana’s most accomplished players, remains hopeful of a return to the national team. Meanwhile, the Black Stars aim to boost their qualification hopes as they take on Chad and Madagascar.
