NACOC tells Rev. Ntim Fordjour to cooperate on ‘suspicious flights’ probe

The Deputy Director-General of the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC), Alexander Twum Barimah, has called on Member of Parliament for Assin South and Ranking Member of the Defence Committee, Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, to actively support ongoing investigations into allegations surrounding “suspicious flights.”

Speaking on Joy News on Tuesday, April 8, Barimah stressed the importance of Fordjour’s cooperation with NACOC and other security agencies if the matter is to be resolved comprehensively and credibly.

“I will advise my good friend and brother that he should cooperate with us if he really wants us to get to the root of this matter,” Barimah said during the interview.

The NACOC deputy boss reiterated the agency’s readiness to pursue leads in the interest of public safety and national security, noting that without Fordjour’s full cooperation, efforts to bring any perpetrators to justice may be hindered.

“To apprehend or arrest any other person who is involved in his so-called suspicious act, he should cooperate with us, the security agencies, to make sure that we get the appropriate or required information and act on it,” he added.

Barimah’s comments come amid growing public concern over the alleged flights, which Fordjour has claimed involve suspicious activities. NACOC’s response underscores its determination to ensure transparency and accountability, especially when it involves matters with possible national security implications.
