A pregnant woman who was part of the victims who survived the ghastly Amanase accident, which claimed 11 lives on the spot on the Accra Kumasi Highway, on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 has lost her baby.

Ultrasound scans conducted by health professionals who attended to her moments she arrived at the Suhum Government Hospital revealed that the baby had died due to the severity of the impact.

According to the health professionals, arrangements were quickly made for the woman to be sent to the theatre to be operated on, as she also had a degloving injury of the skull.

Arrangements are currently underway to transfer one of the two individuals who are in critical condition to the Eastern Regional Hospital in Koforidua.
