President Mahama nominates Ebi Bright, 28 others as MMDCEs

Ebi Bright has been nominated as Tema MCE Ebi Bright has been nominated as Tema MCE

President John Dramani Mahama has nominated actress, and 2024 National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate of Tema Central, Ebi Bright, as the Municipal Chief Executive for Tema.

Her nomination is part of a broader list of 29 nominees for various Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executive (MMDCE) positions across the country, announced in a statement released on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 and signed by the Minister of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Ahmed Ibrahim.

Here is the full list of individuals nominated as District Chief Executives, subject to Local Governance Act (2016)
