Four persons have been arrested following the interception of a cargo shipment containing suspected cocaine by the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC).

The operation, which took place at the Swiss Port on Tuesday, April 24, 2025, uncovered a total of seventy-three (73) slabs of a concealed substance believed to be cocaine.

The suspected narcotics, weighing approximately 89.74 kilograms, were reportedly being packaged for export to the Netherlands.

According to multiple reports, the interception was the result of intelligence-led operations aimed at combating international drug trafficking through the country’s ports.

Meanwhile, the identities of the suspects have not yet been disclosed. They are currently in NACOC custody as investigations continue.
