The Speaker of the General Assembly of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) Student Representative Council (SRC), Adom Anorkwah, was given a hot chase by a court officer as he attempted to evade service.

According to reports, a bailiff from the High Court had been assigned to serve Adom Anorkwah with a writ issued against the SRC and the Electoral Commission.

In a video shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the student leader was seen running from one block on campus to another while the court official pursued him. After running for about 200 meters, Adom Anorkwah appeared exhausted and began to slow down as the court official closed in on him.

He eventually stopped running and was accosted by the court official.

Adom Anorkwah declined to receive the writ, but the court official threw the writ at him, saying: “Service of a writ can be done by throwing it at the person , CI 47. You have been served.”
