CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe has arrived in Ghana and is scheduled to meet with Ghanaian President His Excellency John Mahama on Saturday morning at the Jubilee House in Accra.

Following his meeting with President Mahama, Dr. Motsepe will engage with CAF’s Vice-Presidents and participate in an Executive Committee meeting later in the day.

This meeting highlights the strong collaboration between African football leadership and national governance, emphasizing football’s crucial role in promoting unity, development, and youth empowerment across the continent.

As part of his visit, he will also interact with participants of the Young Reporters Workshop, held alongside the CAF African Schools Football Championship, Ghana 2025, during a mixed zone session.

Dr. Motsepe will then proceed to the University of Ghana Stadium to attend the championship’s closing ceremony, including the Girls’ final between Ghana and Uganda, and the Boys’ final featuring defending champions Tanzania against Senegal.
