Ken Agyapong’s withdrawal from NPP ‘Thank You’ tour good for the party

Ken Ohene Agyapong has officially withdrawn from the NPP’s National Thank You Tour. This is, quite frankly, a welcome decision.

The NPP stands for intelligence, knowledge, respect, and a blend of both rich and poor members who are well-mannered and possess native wisdom.

Unfortunately, Mr. Agyapong does not embody these qualities. We hope to see no more of him.

Ken Ohene Agyapong cites the unfortunate stabbing of a KNUST student as his reason for withdrawing from the NPP ‘Thank You Tour’. He gave the Katanga Hall gyama group money to sing his praises.

But who says that if you invite a ‘nwomkro’ group to perform at your mother’s funeral and they sing praises for you, they do so because they love you?

As the saying goes “empty barrels make the most noise.” A Member of Parliament for 24 years who has no track record in Parliament, no contributions for 24 years.

An empty head who only defines himself by money and “ano yaayaaya.” People follow this man because he gives them crumbs, and even that, he will shout about the next day, claiming he fed you the day before.

Both the Ashanti Team Report and the Mike Oquaye Report cite this man’s foul mouth and acid tongue as one of the major reasons for the NPP’s humiliating defeat. Hear him at Berekum: “mo ahiafuo mpo..”; “yĕn asikafuo..”; “who (you) born dog”; “I will give you a showdown..”

This is the man who wants to lead the NPP and become the President of Ghana by default! Thank you, Berekum, for this eye-opener.

Ken Ohene Agyapong is unlikely to change. As the lyric in George Darko’s “Ako te brofo” reminds us: “if a tiger falls into a river, it gets wet, but it doesn’t lose its stripes.”

It’s crucial for discerning members of the NPP to understand that the Ken Ohene Agyapong they are familiar with will remain the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. His threats and insults reflect an inability to change his behavior; he is simply uncouth.

Ghana’s one and only billionaire (Osikani Extraordinaire) politician, going one… going two… going three… GONE!! Ladies, hurry and bring fat brooms; let us sweep his back so he doesn’t return.
