In a symbolic and uplifting visit to the National Sports Authority (NSA), President of the African Paralympic Committee (AfPC), Mr. Samson Deen, encouraged the NSA Director General, Mr. Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, to remain resilient and inclusive in his leadership despite political alignments and pressures.
During the visit, Mr. Deen offered heartfelt advice, sharing from his personal experiences:
“Don’t let others turn you against those aligned with NPP. I was once a victim but I survived through sheer positive energy.”
The meeting highlighted the need for unity within Ghana’s sports leadership, transcending political affiliations to focus on national development. Mr. Deen acknowledged Mr. Ankrah’s role in revitalizing the NSA and pledged his support for inclusive and strategic collaboration between the NSA and para sports institutions.
