Executive Chairman of the KGL Group, Alex Apau Dadey, has ruled out any political ambitions, insisting that his influence through business is just as significant as that of politicians.

The renowned entrepreneur and philanthropist said he is more focused on driving positive change through his business initiatives rather than venturing into active politics.

Speaking on Starr Chat with Bola Ray, Mr. Apau Dadey emphasized that different forms of leadership—political, business, religious, and traditional—all contribute uniquely to national development.

“I have no political interest at all. I don’t have ambitions in politics,” he stated, adding, “And I believe that leadership—maybe I’m wrong—comes in four forms: political leaders, business leaders like ourselves, spiritual leaders, and traditional leaders.”

He stressed the importance of these leaders working together to transform society, adding that business leaders can show leadership without joining partisan politics.

“The business leaders, when they veer into politics, become fair game. Their businesses start getting attacked. So if you want to be a top business leader, you probably have to concentrate on doing just that—and through business, your leadership would show in the country,” he explained.

“We believe that we are leading. And what we do is equal, if not more, than what political leadership brings to the table,” added the business mogul.
