The burgled shop and the Man of God The burgled shop and the Man of God

A female shop owner cried uncontrollably as she asked her church leader why, despite having the leader’s picture in her shop, it was broken into.

The woman, who revealed that she had been at home for some time due to illness, said she received a call informing her of an incident at her shop. Upon arrival, she discovered that thieves had broken in and stolen all her goods.

A video posted on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) shows the clothing shop completely emptied by the thieves.

The heartbroken owner is heard crying and saying: “God, I am dead. I’ve been sick and at home for over a week. Suddenly, I started receiving many phone calls, only to be told that thieves have stolen everything from my shop. Adom Nyame [Man of God], where are you? I hung your picture in my shop, yet these thieves were able to break in and rob me. They have caused me great loss. God, intervene on my behalf—other people’s items are also gone. The thieves left nothing. Adom Nyame, I trusted in your image for protection, but where were you when I needed help the most?”

Some Christians place so much faith in their pastors that they go as far as hanging their pictures in their homes and businesses, believing that these men of God can offer spiritual protection and grant divine favors.

A woman broke into tears, questioning her church leader about why her shop had been robbed despite displaying the leader’s image in the store.
