The Founder of the Ebenezer Miracle Worship Centre, Prophet Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom, popularly known as Opambour, has criticised the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board, Sammy Gyamfi, for publicly gifting U.S. dollars to fetish priestess-turned-evangelist, Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as Nana Agradaa.

Sammy Gyamfi has made headlines after gifting an undisclosed amount of U.S. dollars to Nana Agradaa.

In a video shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Gyamfi is seen standing beside his white Range Rover, taking a photo with Nana Agradaa, who has her arm around him. The two are seen having a brief conversation.

Agradaa is then heard making a comment to Gyamfi, prompting him to open the back door of the vehicle and sit down to count several U.S. dollar notes. As he does so, Agradaa insists that he hand over all the notes instead of selecting a few. She proceeds to grab all the money from his hands and, walking away, flaunts the dollar bills to bystanders, declaring, “I have taken dollars from Sammy Gyamfi.”

Moments later, Gyamfi’s white Range Rover is seen speeding off.

Sammy Gyamfi has come under a barrage of criticism after the video surfaced online, forcing him to issue a public apology.

Commenting on the issue, Prophet One questioned why Sammy Gyamfi could only afford to share U.S. dollars after receiving a government appointment from President Mahama.

“You have never shared dollars—today, where did you get the dollars from? People may think that you have also started embezzling state funds. Meanwhile, it could be a gift from someone. But how many people will know that it is your own money?

“If you are sharing dollars now that you have a government appointment, it will be assumed that you have stolen state funds. Sammy Gyamfi has to be very careful. I am not even worried about the car he drove to the event; I am more concerned about the money. He should not repeat that mistake again. People want to occupy that office, and he should know that he is not the only person who deserves to be there.”
