Sammy Gyamfi should go to the cross

Why are some people seem to defending Sammy Gyamfi, knowing very well that he has apologised for wrongdoing in gifting cash to Nana Agradaa?

Is it like the Madina MP, Francis Xavier Sosu, palpably making “mockery” of his party’s communication officer for getting him out of the way, seeing the potentials in him?

Let me address it this way. Do you think you’re truly backing Sammy Gyamfi or you seem to be missing the issues, or perhaps you’re looking at it with your full political lenses on, albeit to the disadvantage of the offender under discussion, ie, Sammy Gyamfi.

Sammy Gyamfi gave out alms to Nana Agradaa, a woman who claims to possess magical powers that adds value to currency (inflate the cash like how a popular Ghanaian staple is soaked in water), in the infamous “Sika Gari” discussed sometime ago across all our Ghanaian social strata, on all platforms.

Is Nana Agradaa “poor” to be dashed that amount in dollars ($800 or $1000, or more)?

When president Mahama launched the Mahamacare to give reprieve to people battling noncommunicable disease not long ago, one retired professor sowed the seed money with his meagre $1000. Even he thought it humble to keep it in an envelope, but the president was happy to announce the amount donated by the retiree, receiving a thunderous applause from the gathering.

$1000 dollars equate Gh₵13,000 (₵130,000,000 old cedis), conservatively.

Do you know how many of your comrades who are long time admirers of Sammy Gyamfi who wallow in demeaning poverty and has never seen a hundred dollar note before in the villages where he rallied them to bring the NDC to power?

Do you know how angrily they react when they hear the so called good gesture of “giving alms to the poor” by Sammy Gyamfi?

Was this not same Sammy Gyamfi who not long ago mounted a platform of pontificating virtues of compelling those in authority not to share money as would confetti?

Was he doing so because of the envy of it?
So he can give to women that will sing his praises when power is handed to him, like we saw in the video after he counted the dollar notes to the woman?

Sammy Gyamfi had all the potentials, to reach the top of the ruling class in Ghana. This is a setback in his political journey.

He should go to the CROSS
Now is the time he should go to his closet, on his knees, pray to God, I know he is a Christian. I personally will pray for him too. And I encourage others to pray for him. I’m thus sharing my contact (0249542111) here, I am mobilising faithfuls to pray for Sammy Gyamfi. If he’s useful to our country’s building process, this scandal should not throw him out into the abyss.
