
Late President of South Africa Nelson Mandela formed the Rainbow Nation. Regardless of the atrocities of Apartheid, he asked all whites with a good heart, good intentions, and enthusiasm for the nation to stay and contribute to the progressive development of an ANC-controlled country inclusive all all races. The USA has welcomed fifty white refugees from South Africa with a projected further 3000-4000 by the end of 2025. Very rich white South Africans for years have reached EU member state Malta, paid € 250.000 to get their EU citizenship, and left South Africa behind. The brain drain continues as the criminal rate in South Africa under ANC and now the coalition government of ANC and DA continues to grow. While Whites claim their lives are in danger the government sees this as a re-propaganda stand. In any case, know-how leaves SA and it must be seen over time whether this loss of brains can be replaced by black South Africans right in time or at all before it further effects negatively the Rainbow Nation of Nelson Mandela.
Dr. Kwame Nkrumah fired all Whites from the system and country after he took office in Accra, Ghana on the day of independence. Married to a white Egyptian Lady (both did not speak each other’s languages) he still went ahead with his idea that Ghana is for blacks only. His successor President Busia fired all blacks who were not in the procession of a Ghanaian passport. Ideology was seen as superior to quality in people and what they possibly were able to bring to the table to ensure a better future for the locals.
The Arab states went a different way. After establishing the OPEC in Vienna, Austria, the organization to protect common interests against the white man, they decided to a practical way not overloaded with ideology. They formulated their visions for their nations Qatar, UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, etc. and soon realized they needed experts to work for them in the public and private sectors and paid for their services on a contract basis. Airlines, critical infrastructure projects, the construction industry, the education sector, etc. are managed by White from Europe or the USA. Even foreigners dominate the management of their love project the upkeeping of falcons for hunting and sports. Foreigners look after the welfare of these treasured birds and white doctors take care of their well-being. Impossible to see this in any African country except for parts of SA and Namibia due to their very specific history.
Aioko Dangote, Africa`s richest man, has long laid down the reign of his business empire and allows Indians to manage his companies. Indians are known for their professionalism and certainly for their cost effectiveness as European and USA managers would have asked for higher salaries; clever wise move. Why did he not go for a black top management?
Bahrain employs 15,33% foreigners of the public workforce and 81,4% of the private workforce, Kuwait 19,89% and 95,6%, Oman 78,4% and 95,6%, Qatar 48,3% and 77,6% and Saudi Arabia 9,36% and 77,6% (Source: Statista). 80% of African Migration is by internal movement from one African country to the other reflecting in key positions in the Sub-Saharan nations. Unlike Arab countries, the database for Africa is very scarce.
In most Sub-Saharan African countries Chinese seem to be the biggest community to exploit the mineral resources and manage the economy to a significant behind-the-scenes extent. Russia and its military advisors protect the interest of Vladimir Putin to safeguard his interests and take away precious minerals as compensation for protecting leaders against their people or from foreign assassination attempts. Europeans were and are the open colonial masters China and Russia the secret colonial masters both blocks with the same agenda and interests.
Observing publically accessible information like government websites, SOE websites, and daily local news outlets it can safely be stated that whites are not managing by the contract of Sub-Saharian nations any company that is relevant to the progress of these nations. Whites mostly run their small and medium enterprises not essential to these countries. They are small in numbers.
The Arab countries have ensured white contract employees of the highest and lower categories do not mingle in their royal governance or political affairs. They are paid to perform on certain assigned mandates and not reach beyond. White experts and experts are most welcome as advisors when advice is needed but keep mute when not. This mutual arrangement has proven to be fertile and fruitful for both sides as US President Donald J. Trump last weeks on his four-day tour personally witnessed.
To compare Arab and African countries is needed as this opens the debate for change and improvement ending the circle of self-praising and the unnecessary old blame game.
