Royal Ann College of Health Holds 15th Graduation Ceremony
Royal Ann College of Health held its 15th graduation ceremony on Friday, May 16, 2025, celebrating the successful graduation of over 300 students in various disciplines including Registered Nursing, Registered Midwifery, and Health Assistantship.
The college, fully accredited by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC), offers programs such as Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology, HND in Dispensing Technology, Registered Nursing, Diploma in Midwifery, and several others.
The ceremony, held at the college’s campus at Abuakwa Manhyia in the Ashanti Region, was attended by a number of distinguished guests.
Established in 2010, Royal Ann College of Health has welcomed and nurtured students passionate about healthcare education. The institution is built on a strong sense of community and a shared commitment to developing competent health professionals to enhance the nation’s healthcare delivery.
College President Dr. Richard Aboagye delivered a memorable speech, emphasizing the value of education as a key to success.
In an interview with OTEC News’ Bismark Appiah Kubi Papilo, he commended the graduates for their accomplishments and emphasized that “education was a permanent asset that could not be taken away like material belongings.”
To succeed in their future careers, Dr. Aboagye urged the graduates to combine their healthcare knowledge with strong personal values. “In order to succeed in their future endeavors, the President urged the graduates to combine their healthcare expertise with courage, love, and determination.”
He also stressed the importance of attitude in healthcare delivery, noting that “students must marry the skill acquired with a good attitude to enable them to excel at any health facility that they find themselves and impact society positively.”
Dr. Aboagye further affirmed the college’s reputation for excellence, stating that “Royal Ann Health College is the best place to enroll as a would-be health professional to acquire the best skills and knowledge.”
On his part, the overall best graduating student, Cedolf George, expressed excitement at being named the top student after years of dedication. “He highlighted the excellent training and mentorship the school provides and entreated students to enroll at the school for a better future.”
