The family of a mobile money vendor who was killed in Aflao has scheduled the burial for June 7, 2025.

The deceased, Christopher Ahordor, tragically lost his life on Monday, April 28, following an armed robbery by unknown assailants in the Ketu South Municipality of the Volta Region.

Mr Daniel Ahordor, elder brother of the deceased, confirmed in an interview that, “The Ghana Police Service has released our brother’s body, and the family has arranged to lay him to rest on 7th June 2025.”

Last week, the Volta Regional Police Command in Ho confirmed the arrest of four suspects, who are currently assisting with investigations in connection with the incident.

Reports also suggest that three additional suspects have been apprehended in various locations across the country in relation to the murder incident.

Expressing confidence in the investigation process, Mr Ahordo stated, “We trust the work of the Police. So far, seven people have been arrested, and they have been ordered to reappear in court in a month’s time.”
