Ghanaian YouTuber and content creator Bernard Kwadwo Amoafo, popularly known as Kwadwo Sheldon, has expressed optimism that former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will ascend to the highest office of the land.

Sheldon, who is a known sympathiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), asserted that the party’s 2024 flagbearer will realise his dreams no matter the impediments.

Speaking at an event in Accra where the former Vice President and some NPP supporters were in attendance, the content creator expressed his readiness to contribute to efforts aimed at making Dr. Bawumia President of Ghana.

He further endorsed the vision of Dr. Bawumia, who has yet to declare his intention to run in the 2028 general elections.

“A Dr. Bawumia presidency is inevitable; it is going to happen no matter the impediments. We are going to work hard and dedicate all our resources to support him because we believe in his vision,” he said.

Meanwhile, some big names within the main opposition party have emerged and are preparing to lead the party into the 2028 general elections, where President John Dramani Mahama will end his second non-consecutive tenure.

Some of these names include former Assin Central Member of Parliament Kennedy Agyapong, and the Member of Parliament for Abetifi, Dr. Bryan Acheampong, among others.
