Its Possible! Let’s Save The Youths From Self-Destruction Now

If we can save the cedi from the economic doldrums when it was free- falling like a yo-yo, then we should focus on our youth’s plight and deliver them from the grips of drug abuse epidemic which is engulfing the entire nation.

Now the good news: The government has plans for a “24hr -economy “,which is aimed to make employees work around the clock. The bad news is that the Ghanaian workforce will not be capable to deliver because it is hooked on ‘ wo nim red’ , wee and other high- octane illicit drugs.

Regrettably, the fabric of Ghana is gradually and seriously becoming drug – stained;with the potential to descend into a nation full of “ junkies “.

Until the government comes up with a serious, comprehensive and sustainable program to rescue the youth from this unhealthy and deadly situation; the nation will be in dire straits.

Mindful of the fact that a nation full of drug junkies is not only attractive to investors ,but capable to face this century and beyond. It is also going to put a pressure on our fragile and over-stretched health care delivery system.

Can we realistically sustain our infant economic gains whilst our youths are drugging themselves to death and destruction?

Stay Tuned. Be blessed, informed and educated.
