Let us be clear: no one in Ghana who participated in the pillaging of Ghana, as if they had conquered it and were thus entitled to the spoils of their conquest, during the eight long years of the Akyem Mafia’s kleptocratic dominance, must escape accountability. They must be held accountable for causing financial loss amounting to grand larceny that bankrupted our national economy for private gain, oooo, Ghanafuor.
We must hold all yesteryear’s ruthless state capture rent-seeking big thieves in high places accountable for robbing Mother Ghana blind. We should investigate, prosecute, and jail them if found guilty after due process. Above all, we must ensure restitution for what they plundered by seizing all their assets acquired from their robber baron-type plundering, oooo, Ghanafuor.
Ken Ofori-Atta must be brought back to Ghana to face the music. Accountability knows no bounds, health or otherwise, in our democracy where the rule of law prevails, Ghanafuor.
