Religious And Ethnic Bigotry Will Bury Your Political Career; Open Letter To Kwasi Kwarteng

Mr Kwasi Kwarteng!

I warmly greet you and hope this piece finds you in good condition. This is a humble appeal to you to rethink and embrace wise counsel from the venerable stalwarts of our Party.

To begin with, I have read your post just a while ago and I must state without any shred of ambiguity that you are out to destroy and not to campaign for your preferred candidate.

In your unfortunate argument, you seemed to be comfortable in your religious and tribal bigotry campaign and it speaks volumes about your desire to create confusion within the Party.

In fact, as spokesperson for your candidate, is this what you have to offer? Or is this what has been the conversation behind the scenes for your candidate?

In an actual sense, I thought you would have taken the wise counsel from the venerable Former President, John Agyekum Kufour when he stated that we should eschew tribal and religious bigotry comments.

Fast forward, it’s crystal clear that you have nothing meaningful to add to your candidate’s bid to lead the NPP, and your unguided utterances ever since you joined the team.

Ghanaians are discerning enough not to fall for your feeble argument that you want to advance even when we are cautioned to refrain from that dangerous path purposely to deceive people.

Mr Kwasi, if you lack creative ideas to campaign for your candidate, you can fall back on your experience to help you deliver, but not this immature way to galvanize support for your favourite.

Remember, this is just an internal contest, and we will need each other afterward. Therefore, don’t disrespect the revered Former President Kufour, who spoke with wisdom and passion for the future of the NPP.

There’s a saying, “if you throw a ball to a wall, it will come back to you,” and you must take the cue from that not to destroy your political career because of someone’s political ambition to lead.

In short, the rank and file of the Party and Ghanaians will continue to question your intelligence simply because your post is meant to justify your stance on the religious and tribal bigotry campaign.

Above all, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is loved and celebrated not because of his religious and tribal background but he has conducted himself maturely with Rich and impactful ideas

So, focus on how to campaign decently and maturely.

Shalom!
