Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Amoakohene attending to the injured student
The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, brought his medical expertise to bear when he rushed to the aid of an injured student during the Ashanti Inter-Schools Music Fiesta at the Kumasi Sports Stadium.
This followed a clash that broke out among students.
In a video shared on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, the Minister is seen putting on gloves as he leads a team of medical officers to attend to an injured female student lying before him.
The girl’s injury, which was not severe, was treated, and she later rejoined her colleagues.
Dr. Frank Amoakohene (born September 24, 1990) is a Ghanaian medical professional, politician, and youth leader. He currently serves as the Ashanti Regional Minister and has contributed significantly to healthcare, governance, and public service.
Born in Accra and originally from Nsuta-Asuafu in the Ashanti Region, Amoakohene attended Osei Tutu Secondary School before earning a BSc in Medical Laboratory Sciences (2014) and an MBChB (2020) from the University of Ghana.
He later completed a Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science (2023) at UDS and an MBA (2024) from Accra Business School.
