The Indian Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, is addressing the Parliament of Ghana today, Thursday, July 3, 2025.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi arrived in Ghana on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, for an official state visit.

His visit is the first by an Indian leader in 30 years and forms part of efforts to deepen bilateral relations between Ghana and India, which have been maintained over six decades of fraternal ties.

President John Dramani Mahama held a state banquet to honour Narendra Modi, where he (Mahama) also conferred on the Prime Minister the State’s highest honour of Ghana.
