Dear critical reader, as the scale of the pillaging of state resources that occurred in the period when the Akyem Mafia dominated Ghana, during the Akufo-Addo presidency, becomes clearer, perhaps the question a wise and aspirational African people keen to see their country prosper in the AI era ought to ponder over is: Should Ghana’s mainstream media not focus on helping to expose their nation’s dishonest private sector entrepreneurs?
Clearly, dear critical reader, a private sector full of dishonest and greedy entrepreneurs cannot be relied on to contribute to the transformation of Ghana into a prosperous and equitable society – more so when they are racist foreigners using offshore domiciled special purpose vehicles registered in tax havens such as Mauritius and Luxembourg: who think we are subhumans to dehumanise for ruthless exploitation with clear consciences. No question. Full stop. Yoooooooooo…
Like all the world’s most prosperous and equitable societies powered by their private sectors, such as those in Scandinavia, honest and ethical entrepreneurs are key to the successful resetting of Ghana’s bankrupted national economy.
Such entrepreneurs always pay their fair share of taxes, don’t tamper with utility meters, eschew corruption, pay their workers fair wages, and never treat their workforces as temporary staff to avoid paying into retirement funds. Hmmm, 3y3nsem piiii oooo, Ghanafuor. Yoooooooooo…
Finally, Ghanafuor, as societal watchdogs, the more responsible sections of Ghana’s legacy mainstream media ought to be patriotic and help expose dishonest entrepreneurs because they pose a clear and present danger to the enterprise Ghana, fronting for robber baron-type state capture rent-seeking big thieves in high places across officialdom robbing our Motherland Ghana blind. Yoooooooooo. A word to the wise…
