The Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) – Eastern, Volta & Oti Regions – in partnership with the Volta Regional Coordinating Council (VRCC), has officially announced the 7th edition of the Volta Trade and Investment Fair.
The event is scheduled to take place from November 26 to December 8, 2025, in Ho, under the theme: “Volta Rising: Building Global Partnerships for a Thriving 24-Hour Economy.”
This year’s fair introduces a historic innovation—designated 24-hour exhibition days—making it Ghana’s first-ever continuous trade showcase. The aim is to boost business participation, promote nighttime economic activity, and support the Government of Ghana’s 24-hour economy initiative.
The event seeks to position the Volta Region not only as a center for innovation and entrepreneurship but also as Ghana’s Eastern Gateway to regional markets in Togo, Benin, Nigeria, and Cameroon.
Exhibitors are expected from across Ghana and internationally, with confirmed participation from countries including Togo, Nigeria, Namibia, Kenya, India, and Malaysia. Featured sectors will include agribusiness, tourism, ICT, manufacturing, creative arts, and sustainability.
Beyond exhibitions, the Fair will host a series of targeted forums and seminars to encourage dialogue and capacity building. These include the Volta Investment Summit, Women in Entrepreneurship Forum, Youth in Entrepreneurship Summit, AI & Innovation Forum, and forums on creative arts and sports development. These sessions will offer policy insights, foster collaboration, and equip participants with practical knowledge.
A range of pre-fair activities will energize public engagement in the run-up to the event. These include Corporate Fun Games, the official launch of the Fair, and the “Visit Volta, Experience Ghana” tourism campaign, aimed at showcasing the region’s cultural heritage and natural attractions.
The 7th Volta Trade and Investment Fair is positioned as more than a marketplace—it is a platform for catalyzing regional growth, creating jobs, empowering local businesses, and forging international partnerships. Organizers are urging active participation from the private sector, development partners, government institutions, and foreign missions.
The Fair promises to drive investment into the Volta Region, support export expansion, promote financial inclusion, and build lasting trade relationships across Africa and beyond.
