Global professional services firm, EY Ghana, has officially launched its 25th anniversary celebrations in Accra, marking a significant milestone in its journey of delivering audit, tax, and advisory services in the country.

The event brought together key stakeholders from both the public and private sectors, alumni, clients, and partners who have played a role in EY Ghana’s growth over the past two and a half decades.

Speaking at the launch, Emmanuel Adekahlor, Country Managing Partner of EY Ghana, reflected on the firm’s journey and emphasised that the anniversary was not just a celebration of longevity, but a reaffirmation of EY’s purpose.

“This milestone is a testament to our unwavering commitment to building a better working world. Over the past 25 years, we have not only adapted to the evolving business environment in Ghana but have also remained at the forefront of innovation and talent development,” Mr. Adekahlor said.

He further noted that EY Ghana will continue to invest in people and technology to provide forward-looking solutions for clients, while nurturing young talent to meet global standards.

A key highlight of the event was a keynote address delivered by renowned business leader Dr. Ishmael Yamson.

In his remarks, Dr. Yamson urged EY Ghana to embrace the spirit of togetherness, emphasising that collaboration and unity are vital in navigating the complexities of today’s business environment.

“As you look to the future, let the spirit of togetherness guide your journey. It is through unity and shared purpose that EY can continue to make a meaningful impact in Ghana and beyond,” he said.

The anniversary celebrations are expected to continue throughout the year with a series of activities including corporate social responsibility projects, thought leadership forums, alumni engagements, and talent development initiatives.

EY Ghana, part of the global EY network operating in more than 150 countries, has over the years earned a strong reputation for its professionalism, integrity, and commitment to excellence in service delivery.

As the firm enters its next chapter, it aims to deepen its influence in the local market while aligning with EY’s global vision of building a better working world through innovation, inclusivity, and sustainable business practices.
