The Accra Regional Police Command has assured residents of Ablekuma North of adequate security arrangements ahead of the Parliamentary election re-run scheduled for Friday, July 11.

Police personnel would be deployed to all 19 designated polling stations within the constituency to maintain peace, law, and order before, during, and after the polls.

In a statement signed by Superintendent Juliana Obeng, Head of Public Affairs, the Command indicated that officers would also monitor vehicular and pedestrian movement around voting areas, with strategic barriers mounted to prevent unauthorised access to polling centres.

It appealed to the public to cooperate with security personnel, adhere to electoral rules, and support efforts to ensure a peaceful electoral process.

Residents were also encouraged to report any suspicious activities or individuals to the Police via hotlines 18555 or 192.
