Should Ghana Not Utilise The OxDelivers All-Terrain Electric Vehicle As It Resets Its Bankrupted National Economy?

Should Ghana Not Utilise The OxDelivers All-Terrain Electric Vehicle As It Resets Its Bankrupted National Economy?

Dear critical reader, to quote the marketing blurb of the Global Vehicles Trust’s electric all-terrain vehicle, the OxDelivers: “This week, our Generation 3 OX trucks left the UK facility and are now en route to Rwanda – a major step forward in our mission to supercharge trade across the region. These new trucks are even more capable off-road, feature a more comfortable cabin, and offer increased payload capacity. With each shipment, we’re getting closer to unlocking economic opportunity for thousands of small businesses.”

The question that wise and aspirational Africans keen to see more opportunities provided for Ghana’s younger generations is: Should the government of President John Dramani Mahama and Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang not explore the possibility of getting the various transport sector unions to team up with Neoplan Ghana Limited? This collaboration could leverage the opportunity to manufacture electric OxDelivers all-terrain vehicles in Ghana, as they work hard to reset our bankrupted national economy.

Such discussions for collaboration between the transport sector unions and Neoplan Ghana Limited, with the Global Vehicle Trust, could secure Ghana the agency for assembling Global Ox Trust’s OxDelivers electric all-terrain trucks in Ghana. Furthermore, it could also lead to Ghana being granted the right to distribute these trucks across West Africa. The partnership could eventually be listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) in an IPO, helping turn Ghana into a share-owning democracy where ordinary people benefit from dividend incomes.
