Deloitte appoints George Ankomah as Deputy Chair of Africa Board

George Ankomah, Lead Partner, Tax and Regulatory, at Deloitte Ghana, has been appointed as the Deputy Chair of the Deloitte Africa Board.

His appointment takes immediate effect.

The Management and Staff of Deloitte congratulated George, saying, “We wish him every success in this important role and look forward to his leadership as we navigate our collective future”.

Commenting on his appointment, George Ankomah expressed delight at the trust and confidence reposed in him by the leadership of the firm, saying he will immensely back the firm’s transformational business journey to make an impact that matters everywhere.

“We would continue to do what we do better by upholding trust and confidence through the provision of high-quality service to our clients, enhancing transparency and integrity in the financial markets and focusing on building trust within organisations and with stakeholders”, he explained.
