The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ellembelle Constituency in the Western Region, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, has strongly dismissed reports circulating on social media alleging the eviction of Ewes from Sanzule or its surrounding communities.

In a firm statement, the Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Armah-Kofi Buah, described the claims as “utter falsehood,” labelling them as not only inaccurate but also malicious in intent.

“The people of Sanzule and Ellembelle at large have always been a shining example of unity in diversity,” he said.

“For generations, this cosmopolitan community has peacefully coexisted with Ewes and many other ethnic groups, promoting an environment of mutual respect, inclusion, and harmony”, he added.

He emphasised that the values of Ellembelle are deeply rooted in embracing diversity and upholding the dignity of all individuals, regardless of ethnicity.

The minister urged the public to treat the circulating reports as fabricated and to disregard them with the contempt they deserve.

Moreover, the chief of Sanzule has stated that no Ewe in the area has been asked to leave his community.

He called on the good people of Ellembelle and Ghana as a whole to discard the propaganda circulating on social media about his community.
