As part of deliberate efforts to promote quality education and enhance literacy among school children, the Member of Parliament for Ahafo Ano South West, Elvis Osei Mensah Dapaah, has introduced a new initiative aimed at improving reading skills across all basic schools within the constituency.

Under this laudable intervention, customized reading books have been developed and printed for every pupil from Primary 1 to Primary 6.

Each child within this range is entitled to one of these specially designed books tailored to support foundational literacy development.

To complement the distribution of these books, a daily early morning reading programme has been instituted in all schools within the district.

Starting on July 16, 2025, pupils will engage in structured reading sessions from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM before the regular school day begins.

This initiative is a clear demonstration of Dapaah’s unwavering commitment to the educational advancement of children in Ahafo Ano South West.

By investing in early literacy, the MP is laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning and academic success.
