The Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, has received a grand presentation of items ahead of the celebration of the annual Homowo Festival.

The presentation, done by the Onesta Ghana Limited, an agro-industrial firm specialising in oil palm development, processing, and trade facilitation, was aimed at strengthening ties with the Ga State.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Executive Director of Onesta Ghana Limited, Maxwell Nii Commey, explained that the visit was in recognition of the Ga Mantse’s earlier visit to their office after the launch of their project.

“If the father of the land visits your office and blesses your work, it’s only right to return that honour.

“We are one people with one vision — that Ghana becomes one of the best countries in Africa,” he stated.

Philip Nana Brobbey, CEO of Philbro Group, added that the visit was also to introduce the company and reaffirm their Corporate Social Responsibility to the Ga state.

“Since our headquarters is on Ga land, we found it important to pay respect to the Ga Mantse and support the Homowo festivities with products from our company,” he said.

A spokesperson for Hotwav Phones stated that the company has selected Ghana as its West African base and plans to establish a manufacturing hub locally.

“Hotwav is not just here to sell; we’re here to invest. Our phones and tablets are unbreakable, 99% waterproof, and assembled in Ghana — creating jobs and helping reduce youth unemployment.

“We hope to supply tablets to schools across Ghana as part of our long-term commitment,” he stated.

The team presented assorted items and expressed their commitment to supporting the Homowo celebrations and the Ga community at large.

The visit also highlighted the growing collaboration between corporate Ghana and traditional leadership in promoting cultural heritage and development.
