Bryan Acheampong is the unifier NPP needs — Dr. Kojo Opoku declares amid party tensions

Dr. Razak Kojo Opoku, a key strategist in the Bryan Acheampong for President 2028 campaign, has issued a powerful call for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to rally behind Dr. Bryan Acheampong as its next leader, arguing that only his steady, unifying leadership can steer the party away from deepening internal strife.

In a statement released on Tuesday, July 22, Dr. Kojo Opoku painted a picture of a party in turmoil, warning that growing divisions—fueled by the clash of heavyweights—threaten to fracture the NPP’s foundation and demoralize its base.

“At a time when ‘two elephants are fighting’ and causing internal distractions, it is prudent to rally around a candidate who can hold the party together and protect its grassroots from the pains of opposition,” he said.

Positioning Bryan Acheampong as the bridge between feuding factions, Dr. Kojo Opoku insisted that his candidate is the most viable path toward party unity and electoral revival.

“A ‘consensus’ Bryan Acheampong will unite the different factions, reduce conflict, and ensure collaboration and harmony within the party at all levels of leadership,” he stated.

He cautioned that the absence of such a consensus figure could leave the NPP further fractured and vulnerable, especially at the grassroots level—where electoral victories are ultimately secured.

Dr. Kojo Opoku concluded by urging party faithful to look beyond entrenched rivalries and personal ambitions, and to instead embrace a leader capable of restoring cohesion and rebuilding trust. In his view, that leader is Bryan Acheampong.
