Chaos erupted in Parliament when a loud voice from the Minority backbench labeled a Majority MP as a “daughter of a murderer.”
It was even worrying when the voice kept justifying the comment as being factual without evidence to back the claim.
The voice clearly a male voice was heard shouting “Daughter of a murderer sit down, daughter of a murderer sit down. There is evidence to back that her father killed people.”
Minority Leader, Alexander Afenyo Markin who was on the floor addressing Parliament at the time was seen calling for calm among his members.
He clearly did not like the comment that came from the MP on his side and made gestures pointing to the fact that it was needless and should not have come out.
The comments have been widely condemned by Ghanaians on social media who think that Parliament is gradually losing its essence, considering the kind of comments that come from our honourable legislators.
