Oti Region NDC celebrates Kofi Adams and Mustapha Foyo Gbande’s appointments

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Oti Region congratulated two of its distinguished sons, Mr Kofi Iddie Adams and Mr Mustapha Foyo Gbande, on their recent appointments.

A statement signed and copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) by Mr Gabriel Kwami Lemboe, the Regional Secretary of the NDC congratulated the outstanding politicians on their new appointments.

Mr Adams, the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Buem Constituency, had been appointed Minister of Sports and Recreation, while Mr Gbande, the Deputy General Secretary Operations, would serve as Deputy Director of Operations at Presidency, signifying the confidence placed in them, he said.

Mr Adams replaces Mr Mustapha Ussif, who previously ran the Ministry of Sports from 2020 to 2024, and NDC has expressed its confidence in Mr Adams’ ability to deliver in the Sports and Recreation Ministry, given his passion for sports, particularly boxing.

Mr Gbande, on the other hand, has been a vocal advocate for the NDC, attributing the party’s victory to the long-standing dissatisfaction with the immediate past government.

The NDC in the Oti Region is proud to stand behind its two distinguished sons and anticipates further appointments for individuals from the region, the statement said.
