Reverse all SIC business given to Enterprise Insurance - Steve Manteaw to govt

Policy Analyst, Dr Steve Manteaw has urged the Finance Minister to ensure that all government business given to enterprise Insurance are given back to State Insurance Company (SIC).

He is of the view that while the previous government was in power, all insurance deals which were supposed to go to SIC were given to Enterprise Insurance because the former Finance Minister has stakes in there.

Steve Manteaw describes the decision to give SIC deals to Enterprise Insurance as a loot.

Therefore if the government is committed to its decision to reset Ghana, there will be a need to reverse the decision.

Making this position known in a post shared via social media, Dr Steve Manteaw said “The Minister for Finance must restore all of SIC’s business handed over to Enterprise Insurance.

It’s all part of the loot.”
