On February 14, 2025, she launched another impactful program, the “Sweet Smiles Initiative” in celebration of Ghana’s National Chocolate Day. The initiative, which took place at Khariyyah Islamic Basic School and Osu Salem Road JHS, focused on educating students on the role of climate action in protecting Ghana’s cocoa trees, emphasizing the need for sustainability to safeguard the country’s cocoa industry.
The program, which was organized in partnership with Future Leaders Model United Nations, AT, Yes She Can Foundation, and Vision Recycling, engaged students in hands-on practical recycling and upcycling training, fostering innovation and environmental responsibility. Queen Titiaka’s message was clear: the future of Ghana’s cocoa production depends on how well we protect our environment.
In her interactive sessions, Queen Titiaka provided an insightful breakdown of climate change, detailing how deforestation, pollution, and unsustainable farming practices threaten Ghana’s cocoa trees. She encouraged the students to take active roles in tree planting, waste management, and sustainable agriculture to mitigate climate change’s adverse effects on the cocoa industry.
Her recycling and upcycling training was a major highlight of the event, as students learned how to convert waste materials into useful items, reducing environmental pollution while fostering creativity. She emphasized the need for young people to develop eco-friendly habits, reinforcing the idea that small changes in behavior can lead to a significant impact on climate resilience.
Beyond climate action, Queen Titiaka used the platform to appeal to corporate Ghana and philanthropists to support her upcoming social impact projects, particularly her plan to construct a 3-Unit Classroom Block in the Savannah Region. She reiterated her commitment to improving education in underserved communities, ensuring that every child has access to quality learning facilities.
Since winning the GMB 2024 crown, Queen Titiaka has championed social impact initiatives focused on education, climate advocacy, and community empowerment. On January 1, 2025, she hosted the New Year Feast at Rising Star Orphanage in Dodowa, providing essential supplies, educational materials, and mentorship while promoting climate awareness. Later, in mid-January, she led the Basic School Climate Action Engagement tour in the Savannah Region, educating students on climate change mitigation, tree planting, waste reduction, and sustainable resource use. She also distributed 2,000 books, reinforcing her commitment to literacy, environmental sustainability, and youth empowerment.
