VIDEO: Congratulations and bye-bye! – Hajia Laadi Ayamba delivers signature sign-off during Akanvariba’s vetting

Hajia Laadi Ayamba, Member of Parliament for Pusiga, once again delivered her signature sign-off during the vetting of Lydia Lamisi Akanvariba, Minister of State-designate for Public Sector Reforms, leaving her growing TikTok fan base delighted.

As the vetting session wrapped up, Ayamba offered her customary well-wishes, saying, “Congratulations and bye-bye!” — a phrase that has become her trademark in recent months.

Known for her unique style during vetting sessions, Ayamba’s comment drew smiles from some committee members while social media users eagerly shared the moment online.

The Pusiga MP has faced online criticism in the past for her frequent use of the phrase, with some questioning whether it detracts from the seriousness of parliamentary proceedings.

Despite the backlash, Ayamba has defended her approach, stating that her sign-off is “for the best” and adds a personal touch to the vetting process.

Her latest “bye-bye” moment has already begun circulating on TikTok, where fans eagerly anticipate her light-hearted farewells, turning them into viral clips.
