Dear critical reader, the Women’s Development Bank is crucial for the successful resetting of Ghana’s bankrupted national economy, in the AI era, with its endless and exciting possibilities. No question. To guarantee super-low interest rates for applicants, it might be a good idea and prudent for Ghana’s Vice President, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, to consider inviting Scot MacKenzie and Melinda French Gates to Ghana and hold discussions with them about funding the Women’s Development Bank.
A development bank providing long-term, low-interest funding for replicating profit-sharing social impact business models across Ghana would empower females, such as market women and small-scale food processors, to bootstrap their way out of poverty and achieve financial independence nationwide, positively impacting Ghanaian society in many ways.
Sane, unbiased, and independent-minded observers worldwide acknowledge that womenfolk carry the world on their backs, literally, keeping families and communities bonded, nurturing children, and giving them a good start in life. When women prosper, communities globally prosper too! Without them, the world would be in an even more sorry state.
For that reason, let’s spread the good news about the Women’s Development Bank to females across our beautiful and bountiful Motherland Ghana!
