The Executive Secretary of Airport City Association (ACA), Kweku Senanu Adzraku has encouraged small businesses to seek opportunity in the airport city enclave to expand their operations.

He dispelled rumours that the enclave is expensive and can only be afforded by businesses with high income or budget.

Speaking to Joy Business after a networking event at the Palms By Eagles, Airport City, Mr. Adzraku revealed that there are many levels of opportunities for all businesses to operate and make profit in the area.

“The lowest square meter here, is about $18 or $17 or something, and they even charge in cedis. I think the last time I saw the banner, it was somewhere around 300 cedis or 200 cedis per square meter”, he said.

He stressed that contrary to the perception that the Airport City is reserved for the rich, there are all kinds of demands from individuals and businesses vising the enclave.

He encouraged businesses to relocate to the Airport City and rent affordable space for their business operations.

“So it’s not true. We have all the levels here. We have high-grade buildings here. We have the low-grade. We have the middle-grade. Some buildings are old. Some are new. So, where do you want? You can choose any of the places you want. And it’s negotiable. When you meet, we are all human beings. So when you come and I say a square meter is 20 cedis, and you don’t have 20 cedis. How much do you have? You have 15 cedis. It’s negotiable. So it’s not true”, he said.

He assured that the ACA is available to guide and assist businesses navigate the city to operate at optimum level.

The association took the opportunity to showcase its online platform to members and businesses operate in the Airport City.
