A growing wave of commendation is sweeping across the Akatsi South Municipality as residents continue to express deep admiration for the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Daniel Dagba, for what they describe as his proactive, fearless, and results-oriented leadership.

In a series of interviews conducted across various communities in the Municipality, residents applauded the MCE they described as action- oriented man for restoring confidence in local governance and positioning Akatsi South on a promising path of development.

From opinion leaders and youth groups to traders and assembly members, the verdict is consistent; “Hon Dagba is the kind of leader Akatsi South has long waited for.”

Under his stewardship, the Municipal Assembly has witnessed a significant boost in administrative discipline, public engagement, and strategic planning.

His leadership style, marked by firmness, openness, and an unwavering commitment to service delivery, has set him apart in an era where public trust in local governance is often waning.

Many residents say what makes Dagba outstanding is his readiness to make bold decisions that may not necessarily please everyone today, but are strategically positioned to make Akatsi South smile tomorrow.

“He’s fearless and firm, yet he’s approachable and listens to the concerns of ordinary citizens,” said Madam Celestine Edudzi, a trader at the Akatsi Central Market.

“He understands what is wrong with Akatsi South, and he’s not afraid to confront those issues head-on.”

In his daily dealings with constituents, Dagba is praised for maintaining an open-door policy, responding swiftly to pressing matters, and showing genuine concern for both community development and institutional integrity.

According to youth leaders and assembly observers, his approach to governance has introduced a new level of professionalism and accountability at the Municipal Assembly.

Critics and admirers alike acknowledge that his tenure has brought a sense of structure, order, and purpose to the assembly’s operations.

The sanitation drive, enforcement of by-laws, streamlining of revenue collection, and interventions in education and health infrastructure are among initiatives that have earned him widespread respect.

As the municipality navigates challenges of growth and modernization, residents believe the firm and decisive leadership of Daniel Dagba provides the right foundation for lasting change.

His performance, they say, is a clear demonstration that local governance, when done right, can transform lives and inspire hope.
