President Donald Trump, I am constrained to ask you the following question. With respect do you really believe there can be peace after you have dropped all those bombs? If so you are far less intelligent than I thought and power has blinded your better judgement. You have clearly lost your senses, your emotions have taken over and, like a scorned woman, you are unable to exercise any logical or rational thinking. At this point perhaps the best course for the American people is to have you impeached. The world and America would be better for it.How I wish you had listened to the…

General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), Dr Mensa Otabil, has cautioned against the widespread belief that personal fulfilment is solely tied to entrepreneurship or independent leadership, urging young people—particularly in Ghana and across Africa—to embrace the value of working under others. Speaking at the Next Great Leader Summit 2.0: Wisdom at the Helm of Affairs held at the University of Gold Coast (UGC), Dr Otabil stressed that the majority of people are best suited to thrive within existing structures and established organisations, rather than attempting to carve out entirely independent paths. “I think the majority of human…
Farce is a regular feature of international relations. It can be gaudy and lurid, dressed up in all manner of outfits. It can adopt an absurd visage that renders the subject comical and lacking in credibility. That subject is the European Union, that curious collective of cobbled, sometimes erratic nation states that has pretensions of having a foreign policy, hints at having a security policy and yearns for a cohering enemy. With its pre-emptive attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities and much civilian infrastructure besides, Israel is being treated as a delicate matter. Condemnation of its attacks as a violation of Article…

Europe’s migration problem on its southern borders has been developing for decades. It has reached a crisis. In an effort to stem the flow of refugees, the EU is begun shifting responsibility to third countries – primarily African states which already face instability. The clearest example of what these policies have led to is Libya. Roughly 4 million African migrants live there with no legal status – more than half of the country’s official population of 7.5 million. Left in chaos after Western/NATO military intervention, Libya has become a launching platform for millions hoping to reach European shores.Yet, Libya is not…
