Former Vice President and 2024 New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has resumed his nationwide “Thank You” tour alongside party executives after a brief pause.
The tour, which has already covered 13 regions, was temporarily halted to allow Dr. Bawumia and other party leaders to attend international engagements, including the 2025 International Democratic Union (IDU) Conference held in Belgium.
Dr. Bawumia and the NPP leadership are back on the road today, beginning the next phase of the tour in the Eastern Region. They are scheduled to meet with party stakeholders and supporters in Nkawkaw, Bunsu, and Koforidua.
The Eastern Region leg of the tour will conclude on Sunday with a final stop in Asamankese.
The tour will then shift to the Greater Accra Region on Monday and Tuesday, where Dr. Bawumia and his team will hold a series of meetings with party stakeholders and grassroots members to express appreciation for their continued support.
Throughout the tour, Dr. Bawumia has been thanking NPP members and the wider Ghanaian public for their unwavering support of the party, regardless of the outcome of the 2024 general elections.
