The secondary market activity rose 8.54% week-on-week, closing at GH¢1.53bn last week from GH¢1.41bn.

Trading was concentrated in the general category, led by the February 2027 paper.

It accounted for 24% of volumes at an average Yield-To-Maturity of 20.76%.

Overall, the 2027–2030 maturities dominated with a 54% share, clearing at 20.98% average YTM.

The 2031–2038 papers made up the remaining 46%, with yields reaching up to 21.38%.

Analysts expect modest trade activity in the coming weeks as investors position ahead of the anticipated International Monetary Fund Executive Board decision on the US$370 million disbursement.
