Cedi ends June 25 selling at GHS12.50 on forex market, GHS10.31 interbank

The Ghanaian cedi experienced a slight depreciation against the US dollar, closing Wednesday, June 25, 2025, with an average buying rate of GHS10.38 and a selling rate of GHS11.03.

At forex bureaus, the cedi traded at GHS12.20 for dollar purchases and GHS12.50 for dollar sales.

These figures are sourced from Cedirates.com, a reliable Ghanaian platform that tracks daily currency and fuel rates.

On the Bank of Ghana interbank market, the cedi was trading at GHS10.29 for buying and GHS10.31 for selling.

For the British pound, the average bureau rate stood at GHS13.84 for buying and GHS14.69 for selling.

The Bank of Ghana’s interbank rate for the pound was GHS14.03.

The euro also traded at GHS11.94 for buying and GHS12.65 for selling at forex bureaus, while the interbank rate stood at GHS11.96.

In the money transfer space, LemFi and Hurupay offered dollar rates of GHS10.25 and GHS10.35 respectively for remittances from the US or UK to Ghana.

For the British pound, LemFi and Afriex offered GHS14.00 and GHS15.92 respectively.

Afriex also quoted GHS13.59 for the euro, while LemFi offered GHS11.91.

For digital subscription payments such as Netflix, Spotify, and Apple Music via Visa and Mastercard, the exchange rates were GHS11.13 and GHS11.07 respectively.
