Christian Service University has officially commissioned a new multipurpose Students Arena, offering students a dedicated space for relaxation, study, dining, and hosting educational programs.

The launch ceremony took place on Monday, June 9, 2025.

The project was initiated by the 2022/2023 Students’ Representative Council (SRC) administration under the leadership of H.E. Emmanuel Amegavi Sosu, and successfully completed by the 2024/2025 SRC team led by H.E. Richard Owusu.

Speaking to the media after the launch, Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Stephen Banahene praised the SRC for their vision and commitment, describing the arena as a lasting legacy of student leadership.

He encouraged current and future students to take responsibility for maintaining the facility to ensure its longevity.

SRC President H.E. Richard Owusu echoed the call for preservation, urging the student body to take pride in the new space and safeguard its value for generations to come.

He also appealed to incoming SRC executives to uphold the arena’s integrity and continue building on the achievements of past administrations.

The Students Arena is expected to significantly enhance student life on campus by providing a versatile and welcoming environment for both academic and social activities.
