The Municipal Chief Executive of Krachi East, Hon. Nketia Safo, has begun a vital road rehabilitation project aimed at improving inner roads in Dambai.
This development is expected to significantly ease movement, improve accessibility, and enhance the daily lives of residents and traders.
According to Hon. Safo, the rehabilitation work focuses on key roads that have long been in poor condition. These include the stretch from Emma Plaza to the market, a busy commercial route critical for local traders and commuters. Another section under repair is the road connecting Arena Spot and Obatanpa to the market, which plays an important role in reducing travel time and easing congestion. Additionally, the route between Datco Wall and the EP Church is being upgraded to ensure smoother transportation and better connectivity for residents attending communal and religious activities.
Hon. Safo emphasized that the project is just the beginning of a broader effort to transform the municipality’s infrastructure. He assured the public that more roads would be improved soon, with ongoing collaboration between his office and the Department of Feeder Roads. He reiterated his administration’s commitment to improving transportation, safety, and general convenience for all residents of Dambai.
The roadworks have been warmly welcomed by the community, with residents expressing their appreciation for the visible improvements. Many say the MCE’s leadership is bringing long-needed attention to local infrastructure and demonstrating a clear commitment to development.
